Looking for a good pediatrician and good internal medicine doctor

Hi Ladies. I am wondering if anyone can give me a recommendation for a really good pediatrician in South Austin and a good internal medicine doctor for my husband. We have some tricky health problems in our family (reflux, allergies, celiac disease) so the standard move-the-cattle-through approach doesn't work for us. I have seen a few of the pediatricians at ARC and so far have not been pleased. Any good recommendations?

I go to Capital Pediatrics and we always ask to see Dr. Treybig. She does seem rushed all the time, but they all do, and she does listen... I found a wonderful doctor for myself, he is a bit hard to get in to see, but worth the wait. Dr. Eric Weidmann. The 2 times I have seen him, he has been extremely thorough and really listens to you. I have had to wait a long time in the exam room, but when he did finally come in, he was so great, and I realized that is why he is always late, he is so thorough. A friend of my has celiac and there is a huge support group in San Antonio.. FYI

Capital Pediatrics: 454-4545, they are centrally located, up near Lamar and 35th..
Dr. Eric Weidmann: 892-6600, he is on Western Trails behind the south Central Market.

Good luck, Juliet

Dr. Paige Suffredini is awesome. At least 20 families that I know go to her and everyone loves her. She is very kind to children and parents alike. She's also a highly skilled doctor and often works with seriously ill children. She's at Austin Diagnostic Clinic (at North Austin Medical Center) (512)531-KIDS.

South Austin Pediatrics with Dr. Ramona Lopez or Dr. Peter Hine. They are both great doctors.

I love Dr. Amy Alcorn at ARC in Brodie Plaza as a pedi.
