Left over baked fish -- need a recipe!

I have about 12 oz. of leftover baked tilapia from dinner last night. When I search online, the only recipes I find are for fish cakes or fish pie. Anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks!

Tacos, “crab cakes”, fish and pasta caserole, stir fry, “tuna” salad. flaked over a salad. have it like a “lobster roll.” Sounds delicious. make a stew, make a “paella”. enjoy

Make a cold/warm pasta salad with the left overs…

Here is what I would do…make some pasta I like the spiral pasta. Add to it the fish flaked/cut up. Add in shredded carrots, cut up red and green peppers, diced up tomatoes, and any other veggies you have on hand diced up (brocolli, zuchinni, sugar snap peas). Then add italian dressing and sprinkle with some fresh grated parmasan cheese. I have served my cold or warmed up in the mircowave. Great lunch.

fish tacos.
we use it like this. Add pico and maybe a cilantro sour cream sauce (take your sour cream and add some lime juice and cilantro in a blender or food processor and blend until it is lime green).
Yummy. Oh, you can also take your baked fish and put in a skillet with taco seasoning or chili powder and cumin to get different flavor to it if you don’t like the fishy flavor.
Put in a flour tortillas. no cheese needed.
Seriously delicious.

We do fish tacos with our leftover baked fish as well. Saute with taco seasoning and top with coleslaw.

Another vote for fish tacos–we LOVE them!

My husband loves tilapia salsa. Just chop your leftover fish and stir it with your favorite homemade salsa, and serve with tortilla chips!

My husband likes my onion salsa best…it’s red onions, roma tomatoes, green pepper, lime juice, oil, vinegar, and season to taste (garlic, mustard seed, etc, whatever you like.) It’s not a tomato-y salsa like you’d get in a jar…it’s very fresh tasting, and not bogged down with tomato sauce.

I just made a wrap of leftover baked tilapia, sliced cucumbers, and creamy balsamic vinaigrette in a herbed tortilla, sat down to lunch, opened up mamapedia to see what was going on today – and there was this question. Perfect timing

(BTW, I’ve tried both heating the fish and eating it cold in the wrap. Both work for me.)

Break it up and heat it quickly with a little salsa verde (green salsa) and make fish tacos!

squish it up with mayonaise, lettuce, and lime and toss it into a sandwich. YUM
