Homeschooling Girls, 7-10 years old?

I live North of the River near Gladstone. My daughter is 9 years old and it's time for me to find her some friends. I run a daycare and am open 7 days per week. So I don't have a lot of time for meeting out in public. We do skate on Saturdays, about 2 per month and could do it more.

Also, I'd love to help someone that has a girl between the ages of 7 and 10 and is not yet homeschooling. I can legally homeschool up to 4 unrelated children in Missouri. So if you work outside the home and your girl dislikes public school or you wish you could homeschool but don't have the time, lets talk! This is NOT an ad. Please don't remove this. I can not legally charge for homeschooling. So this has NOTHING to do with my daycare. I'm just looking for a way to find my daughter a study buddy.

Wow, you sound busy and kudos to you for working 7 days a week. I am also a daycare provider but I don't work on weekends. Not that I don't watch my sister's children sometimes but not full time.

I just wanted to say hi. I have a 10 year old son and a 3 year old daughter and are expecting a third in July. We live in KC, but close to Liberty.

Have you tried the KC Homeschool website? You have to join and be approved, but then you could send out a request on there, too. www.homeschool-life.com. Good luck.
