hi everyone.. i am going to travel with my two kids in few months to see my parents it will be 20+ hours ofair travel with transit stops in between.. iam taking my double stroller with me , the problem is that i cant find a reasonable priced dbl stroller gate check bag any where, does any one know if i can find it some where, or borrow one or make one with vinyl sheets .. where can i get the material .. any help will be appritiated. thanks
Whenever I traveled with my little guys (twin boys) I never bothered with a bag for the double stroller. They were very good at making sure it was the last thing in the cargo hold and the first thing out when we landed. If you have multiple layovers I would suggest checking your double stroller (if it is one of the big ones - and I would look online for a store that carries them) and take two double umbrella strollers with the clip together attachments - much less hassle and you'll be able to fold them and place them in the overhead bin.
Hope this helps! Good luck with your travels...Oh, and I also packed everything for them in a backpack vs. a duffle bag so I could have my hands free while walking through the terminal, etc.
Take care,
Alicia
Of all the times I have traveled with the stroller, I never used a stroller bag. You will have enough on your hands without trying to stuff a stroller into a bag. Is this a requirement of the airline?
If it is a must, you will probably have to go online.
