healthy homemade chocolate recipe

I got this recipe from a friend and decided to try it. I love it, but more importantly (and surprisingly) my two kids love it. It's loaded with magnesium and protein. Give it a try!

In a bowl, mix:

3/4 cup cocoa powder or you can ground your own cocoa beans (they are expensive so I did not)
1 cup of tehini
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of honey
1/2 cup of coconut oil (this gives it great flavor, so don't opt for a different oil)
A drop of your choice of flavored extract. I used peppermint extract for some, and almond extract for some.

Pour into molds and freeze, or you can even use it as a chocolate spread on rice cakes.

Sounds great & I’d love to try it. I have never heard of tehini though. Where would I go to look for it?

@4littleones- tahini is ground sesame seed paste. You can find it near peanut butter a lot of the time. Most grocery stores carry it, it is often used in hummus.
