Friend is moving to the area...Looking at some of the districts I've looked at in the past, but I thought I'd help her get more input...Any feedback about Hatboro-Horsham School District and/or surrounding districts that you reccomend or should stay away from....
I live in the Hatboro-Horsham SD and LOVE it. I have a special needs child and it has been the best thing for all of us to move from Quakertown to hatboro horsham. We moved back down to the area for family, but the area for the school. I graduated from Central Bucks and will say I don't care for the school, but that is me. I understand it has changed in over 15 years so i'm sure it is a much better school. UpperMoreland is a good school, but i'm not sure what kind of resourse they offer. I live in the Souderton School District. We will have our first experience in September with Kindergarten. I understand it is highly regarded, but not highest. A number of teachers from other school districts live here to put their children through its schools. Just built a new high school.
I have been told that potentially the highest regarded schools are in Treddyfrin-Easttown and Upper Dublin. I have been told that people specifically move to those districts for their schools.

I know a retired teacher from the district who says it is good. Other good districts around are Wissihickon and Upper Dublin. I would stay away from Abington and Springside from what I've heard.
