Found a hidden charge on my AT&T mobile bill so be aware!

I recently decided to look closely at my AT&T mobile phone bill because it seemed to have gone up beyond financing a new phone for my son and for my spouse. I discovered that I was being charged a monthly fee of $10.00 for one phone and $6.00 for the second phone to have the OPTION to upgrade the phone before the expiration period. This was a monthly charge just to have that option. When I called AT&T they said I would have to go back to the store where the phone was purchased to ask for credit although eventually I did at least get the charges stopped for future. This was in addition to having been charged for insurance without being asked or informed.

So, if you recently bought a mobile phone at an AT&T store, be sure to check your phone bill for these hidden charges. My spouse and my son both said neither had been asked about these add ons and they bought their phones from two different stores in two different states. It took me half an hour on the phone just to get the charges stopped.
