Does anyone have any feedback (positive or negative ) on Children's World on West Plano Parkway and on the Montessori school of North Dallas. I have a 3yr old daughterand I am looking for a good preschool for her. Would really appreciat eall your help.
My 3-yr old is at MSND. My recommendation is on this site somewhere. Starting uniforms this Sept tho, :(
I have worked the childcare industry in the corporate level in North Texas. Based on my experience, this is what I have witnessed. Some Children's Worlds are good, some are not. Some like these are operated by corporate conglomerates who are concerned with profit margins more than the safety of your child. Montessori schools have a good reputation but may not be appropriate for your child. Depends if you want the structure or not. The Heights Baptist Church located at 75 Central and Renner Road is an excellent school if you like less structure, so is The John Knox School located at North Star in Richardson (Renner & Northstar) Also, Messiah Lutheran Church located on the West Side of Plano off George Bush Freeway near Plano Parkway and Custard Parkway offers a good balance. I know each of the previous schools mentioned provide loving and nurturing environments for children.
My children attended the Children's World on Plano Parkway and both really enjoyed the teachers. I do know the director has changed since we left, so I don't if that has made any difference. We changed because I changed jobs and needed something closer to my office, otherwise we definitely would have stayed.
