Can anyone help a newcomer to this area find a reputable hair salon?

I love Statements - the Salon in Lake Ridge. I know it may seem a bit far for you in Fairfax/Centreville, but I know many people from farther out that go there. I usually go to Nikki, the owner, but have had my hair cut and colored by many other stylists there. I have been going to Nikki for over 20 years and have followed her from salon to salon before she opened Statements. She's wonderful and very good with all types of hair - I have seen her do amazing things. She also runs a cosmetology school (Statements - the Academy) where most of her stylists are trained. View the About us page and read about Sukyi - she specializes in relaxers - I have had my hair done by Sukyi (cut and color) and she's great - she also does a great eye and lip wax.
