Entertainment in the Highlands Ranch Littleton area

We have a few day's home this week and hope to take grt. gram and pa out to eat and just hang out together in the area. Do you have any ideas of fun things to do? No babies or children for four days! Could you please share some of your favorite places to eat favorite movies to see or rent? Or just anything you think of that may not be to strenuous for the folks? Thank you, Kathy K.

Hi! If I read your post right, you won't have the kiddos with you, so you don't need kid-friendly things to do. Hope that's right.

If they are here over a weekend, brunch at Romano's is great. It's at Broadway and Plaza, near the AMC theater (near Broadway and C470). It's never been busy when we've gone and they have SO much food.

As far as movies. I read the book the Secret Life of Bees and now it's a movie, so that should be good.

If they are pretty mobile, the Littleton Museum is always great, which is in downtown Littleton (you probably know that!)

If they like to paint, it might even be fun to go to the paint your own pottery place. Maybe have them make a plate or something for the (great)grandkids. I did that with my great-grandpa and he had a great time. We went to the one in town center, Arts on Fire.

Hope they have a great visit!
