Have you tried the city of plano website? They have something called plano leisure online and I believe that they have dance classes on there for reasonable prices too.

I have two dancers - and they love the Frisco Dance Force. I know it might be a little further north than you were looking-- it is located in the Target Shopping Center at Stonebriar Mall (121 and Preston Rd. - also near the Tollway). You can google them online, and view their fall schedule.

Gotta Dance at Parker/Custer. Best ballet studio I could find and I looked - hard. This is a major area of concern for me because I am a classically trained ballerina (not from DFW) and it's a big deal for my daughter to dance like a little girl, not a stripper. =)

A very good friend of mine owns StarFire Productions in Carrollton. It's right off 121 and Hebron. She's a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and Dallas Mavericks Dancer, and she's great with kids.
Her name is Maya and I highly recommend her and her studio.

Try Backstage Dance in Plano! We have classes in Tap, Jazz and Ballet for 5 year olds. Located at Parker and Independence.
Check out Chamberlin School of performing arts. It is great!
