I am curious about submitting some photos of my little boy to see if any modeling agency might be interested. As I'm sure all parents do, I think he's got a personality that could translate well to print modeling. Does anyone have a child who is currently modeling in Dallas? Can you give any advice on which agencies to contact or which ones to avoid?
FIRST AND FOREMOST......SPEND NO MONEY, NO FEES
If you are asked to pay fees or anything....RUN don't walk away.
Send snapshots to anyone you like....Kim Dawson and Campbell agencies are good ones.
Be ready for a lot of rejection. You have to "be on call" to go to auditions and those auditions are not set to accompany your schedule. It might be during fussy time, etc.
My daughter and I model on accasion. I was raised doing it. You have to keep an open mind and accept the critics words. It is tough on a child's self esteem to be rejected so make sure you are there for your child. It is not easy taking the bad news but when you do have the good news it is fun. Remember it is a JOB, lot of work and not all a bed a roses.
Best wishes.
Hi Laura,
Like the other mom said...don't spend any money!
My son has been modeling for The Campbell Agency since he was a new born, he is now 5. We love The Campbell Agency and everyone we do work for, they take great care of us and make it fun for my son.
