Can't Find A Job In The Legal Field

I left my last permanent position to stay home with my baby for at least a year. I took on two temporary assignments the last one ended at the end of May. My husband bought a pizzeria and I've been helping him out in there. Since August, I have been job searching and so far I've been on two interviews and I've registered with five employment agencies in the area. It seems that the job market has tightened up a lot recently. Is anyone else going through the same situation or is it just me? Does anyone know of an open position for either a legal assistant or litigation paralegal in camden county? I would really appreciate any feedback.
