My daughter is having a birthday party this coming weekend. Since she hasn't made a lot of friends in her new school yet she wanted to invite a few kids in our neiborhood. My question is if she invites one girl that is around her age in a family that has 1 or 2 other siblings like older sisters and younger brothers do we need to invite the siblings too? I'm worried that I may have offended someone by not inviting the siblings but she's not as aquainted with the siblings. What should I do?
No, you do not have to invite the sibs. If someone gets offended, that person is unrealistic.
I say no you don't have to envite them. I know you feel bad, but you just can't do it everytime. We just went to a '2 and under' birthday party. It was mainly all the kids in our neighborhood and several of them had siblings that stayed home with the other spouse. It was very fun and we all enjoyed just giving our one child there attention.
