Mamas & Papas-
My close girlfriend and I decided to do a joint b-day party for our sons this year. They are both turning four and are in the same pre-school class. We will be going to a bounce house sort of place, and doing a private party. The kids are fine with it and are looking forward to it (frankly they don't know any better). We are happy she suggested it, and I expect the class mates and their parents will be too. With 22 kids in the combined pre-nursery/ nursery part time/ full time roster, it's one fewer party for them to have to attend.
I like making up photo postcards through vistaprint or 123 print for our party invitations, as we can send them to family abroad. I will include a pic of both boys on it. Any thoughts on what to use in the picture? Any thoughts on how to word this joint invite?
Thanks,
fanged bunny
Please join us for a birthday celebration for John and Michael.
Two close friends with a very close special day.
Both boys will turn 4 and would love to have their friends with them.
The party will be at 999 Celebration Lane at 1:00 p.m. and a light snack will be served, followed by cake and ice cream.
Please bring with you a pair socks for your child to wear while jumping.
I like momwithcamera’s wording -
or something like
