Celebration Covenant in Frisco is awesome! www.celebrationcovenant.com

I LOVE Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church off 121 (just before Lake Forest) in Allen. We moved here from California about a year ago and searched for a Church until we found this one. The Pastor is awesome, the people are so friendly and the worship is a great mix of contemporary and hymns. I really wish you luck and hope you visit Cottonwood before making your decision :)

www.hopefellowship.net We've been attending for about 6 years... and it's incredible!

I would say try Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church on 121 (and Alma/Stacy). I think it's technically Allen. Also, you could try McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. I know it is McKinney, but my daughter is in Mother's Day Out there and we LOVE it. They have a Pre-School Program too. The MDO/Pre-K is called Promisland.

Then, I absolutely love my church, Woodcreek Church. It's in Richardson, but right on the border of Plano. Our building is on Renner Road just east of 190. We live in McKinney and still drive there... it takes us about 20 minutes, and we're really involved. Check out the website and all the ministries and opportunities to get plugged in at www.woodcreekchurch.com. We're really big on small groups, so I know there would be a place for you. The kids' ministry is incredible also. AND great music. :) Service Times: 9 am & 10:45 am.

Good luck on finding the place God has for you and your family!

Blessings,
Sara

Hope Fellowship in Frisco is great!

Celebration Covenant Church in Frisco is awesome. We've been attending for 5 years now. They have great contemporary music (same kind of stuff you here on 94.9 KLTY). Fabulous children's ministry and also a singles ministry. There is also a MDO program during the week.

We have been attending Covenant Church in Carrollton since last November and love it. We live in Prosper and it's worth the drive...it only takes 25 minutes from our house. The church is near George Bush and DTW. http://www.covenantchurch.org/ The childrens ministry is the best I have seen. Another thing I love about this church is that it's not white...nor brown...now black...or anything. People of all races/color joining together to learn more about Jesus. If you go to their website you can even watch a previous or the current session. I hope you find the church for you.

Stonbriar Church in Frisco is an excellent church. The pastor is Chuck Swindall.

This is a wonderful church that my daughter and her family joined.

Genesis Metro is an excellent small baptist based church in west Frisco. Everyone is very friendly, and interested in getting to know you. We are currently meeting in Pink Elementary at 9:30 and 11:00 on Sundays.

Hi There..We actually went to Stonebriar for 9 years and recently changed, we loved Chuck but are with you on the music thing:) We started attending The Ridge in Carrollton-right near Trinity Medical Center. It is perfect for our family, small Sunday School classes, great worship music and yes, it does have a preschool program which our 2.5 year old will be attending this fall. You should come visit sometime!

I have been attending Grace outreach Center in Plano for over ten years. They have a great childrens church (by age, by grade). They have services on Saturday night, two on Sundays. It is at Preson and Parker. They are non denominational.

We love The Harvest in Allen. It is a spirit filled, non-denominational church with an AWESOME youth group. They have great small groups (for adults) that meet on Wednesday nights in peoples' homes. It is located in the McDermott/Greenville area (just east of 75). It is small, but growing! Sunday services are at 9 and 11. You'll love the music, too! www.theharvestnow.com

Hope to see you there!!

Celebration Covenant Church in Frisco is a great non-denominational church. They also have a preschool program during the week. The music is definitely lively and the kids and teens program is amazing!

Hello Naomi,

I think I am the 3rd to respond about Hope Fellowship. This is a great church! I had grown up baptist, but had not been to church in about 20 years. I had been drawn to Hope Fellowship every time I passed it and felt something was drawing me there. I have been there ever since, which is going on a year now. It has a different feel, very relaxed environment, and the word preached reaches me in some way every time I go. The pastor is able to make his preaching very relatable to everyone. My husband was raised catholic and I did not think he would get this type of environment or really appreciate for coming from such a different religion. He was hooked by the 3rd time going. We love it and our 3 young kids love it. The music is awesome as well! You should give it a try. Someone posted the link in an earlier post. This church is more based around giving back to the community and bettering your relationship with Christ and really finding ways to just be a good person. Thanks and good luck finding a home!
