Any advice on baby-proof locks/latches for a dresser drawer? Our little one is obsessed with opening and closing her dresser drawers. We are having a hard time finding a safety lock/latch suitable for her dresser. All the latches we find still allow her little fingers to get in the drawer and potentially pinched...which I guess is inevitable & she will learn it hurts but we really want to keep her safe. Any suggestions?
I would try putting velcro on each side of the drawer...you can find a roll of it at walmart or target
In response to the velcro suggestion...I like that idea. I too have a toddler that loves to open her dresser drawers, only she likes to dump all her clothes into the floor.
My SO is into putting patches on uniforms, etc...there is an extra strength velcro available. After reading her suggestion, I am going to try that on her drawers.
Thanks for posting this question!!!!
I vote velcro, too. And do you have the dresser itself attached to the wall? This is probably the bigger hazard, having it tip over if she pulls on the drawers. They make straps that easily attach.
