Hey Moms! Just wanted to pass along the recent recall of SOME Thomas the tank engine wooden train pieces......visit http://cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07212.html to read a list of the recalled items and see pictures.
These pieces were manufactured in China and the paint on them contains lead.

If you're like me...i have so many Thomas pieces laying around on his train table...I need to go through them to see if we have any of these. Just thought I should pass along the info.

Thanks for the info...I have to say as a Math teacher, girls also (my niece for one) love these trains. The early exposure to engineering especially with trains really helps develop that later on interest in Math. Just had to add that. :)
