Anyone Know Of Any Sign Language Classes In Cary, N.C.

I have an 11 mopnth old daughter,soon to be one. I would like to enroll her in baby sign language classes if there are any in the Cary, N.C. area. Does anyone know of any?

I do not know of any classes for sign language. But, we have been using the Baby Einstein first word video and watching Signing Time on PBS with my daughter (2 yrs) for the last 6 months. She has now knows all the basic signs, "more, milk, water, ball" to all of her colors, zoo animals and some vegetables.

Hi, I believe Planet Child located in Cary does baby signing classes. They offer different classes there. Hope this helps.

hi Daisy,
Look up SignsofLearning.com . This is a young Raleigh based girl who does baby sign language all over the place. She holds classes at random places all over the Triangle. I've met her and had an introductory class with her through a mother's group I had belonged to. It was very interesting.

You can check out the Signing Times with Alex and Leah DVDs for free at Project Enlightenment (Boylan Ave, Raleigh). The series airs on PBS on Saturday or Sunday mornings also. Good supplemental fun education!
