5' 4" and size 4 or 6. How many pounds?

Hi all - this is a very random question, but are there any of you out there who are a size 4 or 6 and are 5 feet 4 inches tall? If so, how much do you weigh? A friend and I were talking yesterday and she'd like to be a size 4. In my ideal world, I'd be a size 6. We're both 5 feet 4 inches, but I have no clue what weight I would need to aspire to, to be a size 4 or 6.

I do know that weight varies, so that some people will be a bit heavier (more muscle, different body type) than others in the same size clothing. I'm just looking for an approximation.

Thanks!

Im 5’4 and I weigh about 140 and im in a size 8. i would think that 130 would get me in the 6 easily.

Hmm, I’m a little taller, so taking that into account… I think you’d need to be about 115 lbs to get into a size 4 if you are 5’4".

Not exact, but…

I’m 5’5 and wear a 2 or 4 depending on where I buy it. I weigh 120 but I also have a small frame (small bones)

Before having my second child, I was an “easy” 6P in all clothing. At 5’0", I weighed 120 lbs the day I found out I was pregnant. When I got married, I was a 2P and weighed around 105-110.

I think 115 or 120. I’m 5ft 4 - I weigh approx. 130 and wear size 6 - can’t get into a size 4.

In my world I am five feet tall and am not fat, weight about 150 pounds and wear a fourteen petite. Many years ago, I was the same height, weighed about ninety pounds. Wore about a four or a six. Was sick all the time, felt like crap, starved myself, smoked all the time and drank coffee a lot. I shook, bounced around a lot and coughed my life away. They say I was very good looking whoever they were. I was unmarried, tried to find boyfriends, never slept and I exercised all the time. I wish you luck with whatever your goal is -it is definitely going to be different for a lot of people. I want to say I loved weighing nothing and feeling dizzy and crappy all the time BECAUSE I COULD WEAR WHATEVER I WANTED. But, I realized not long ago and many years later, that I can wear whatever I want in larger sizes and feel good with some extra weight. And I am still beautiful or so they say. Whoever is of the opinion that I am beautiful. And then the heck with everything else. I realize your question was rhetorical but I also see how many women have failed their own health in pursuit of being and wearing TINY. People are all shapes and sizes and heights. Enjoy whomever you are.

I am 5’5" and 135 and wear a 6. At 130 I wear a 4. I work out a lot and have an athletic mesomorph build. I would say I’m a very average build - not “man-ish” and not “waifish.” When I was younger and not as strong I wore the same sizes and weighed 115-125. But I wasn’t as hot. LOL (That’s old people humor.)

I’m 5’7", 130 and wear a size 4 - I would think 130 would get you into a 6 and 120 for the 4. I try to focus on how I feel over my size/weight. Best wishes to you!

i’m 5’ 4" and wear a 4 or 6, depending on the brand - i weigh about 125, i’m pretty muscular and have large breasts - would prob weigh less if not for those two things!

I’m 5’4" and weigh about 113. I am a size 4, but can sometimes go to a 2 depending on the garment. My chest is a little larger than many that size at a 32D and I am probably average in terms of muscle weight. Hope that helps!

I’m 5’ 4" with a small frame and weight @ 130 and wear fours and sixes. At 125 I wear fours. I get clothes at Target, Old Navy, Gap, etc.

I am 5’4" and weigh 118 lbs. I wear a size 3/4

Peoples weights will vary, better to go by your measurements. Look up a few of the places you like to buy clothes from, most sites will list the measurements for their sizes, so you can see what a size 4 measures. Keep track of your weight loss by measuring inches lost in addition to lbs lost. I’m 5’5" and weigh around 125, I’m a 4/6 depending on the style/brand.

Well, here is the formula to roughly figure out an “ideal” weight. 100 lbs for 5 feet and then 5 lbs for each extra foot. So by that you should be 120 lbs. This will of course vary if you have a very large bone structure or a small one.

Also-many different weights fit into 4 and 6. It depends on where and how you carry it. Also consider that vanity sizes are rampant. I am the same “size” now that I was 15 years ago but am actually 10 lbs heavier.

I’m 5’5", about a buck forty five and a size six but one grain of rice from a size 8. LOL.

If I were in better shape, I’d be a soild size 6. I’d never be a size 4 because I’ve got way too much junk in the trunk for all that.

I’m a super curvy cute girl and I love it which is why I’m not trying to really drop on ounce.

In all seriousness the clothes did fit better when I was 15 pounds lighter. I don’t worry about it because I still know I’m cute to me. LOL again.

I’m only 5’2", but when I was a size 4 I was about 105-110lbs. When I was a size 6 I was 110-120lbs. I have small bones.

I am 5’4 and when I got married 10 years ago I was a size 5 and I weighed 110.

I’m a size 6, weigh 144, and am 5’5". When I weighed 138-140, I was a size 4. I’m not very muscular. In GS when I was muscular, I weighed 128 and was a size 2-4.

I am 5’4", and my doctor said I was just right, and expected me to be 115 lbs. But I am built differently - I have more dense muscle than most, so I weigh 130 lbs. I wear a size 2-4 for pants and 4 shirt.
