Monday, my twins will be starting daycare for the first time. They are almost 2 and a half. I'm not so much worried about how THEY will handle it as I am how I will. I'm use to being able to call my sitter to see how they are and talking to them several times a day. I know it sounds kind of clingy and all of that, but I worry. I was just wondering how some of you dealt with first day of daycare blues. LoL.
Sarah, My little girl is 3 now. I am a big sucker for 1st days. Some days I even cry when she's asleep just because she looks so big! lol Anyway, most daycares will let you call and check up on your children because they understand. Usually if you can't call to check up or stop by unannounced, it's a bad sign. So make sure there's an open door policy so you are able to check up on them. Eventually it gets easier.
