Your Favorite Toys & Books for a 1 Year-old

Hi moms, what are your favorite toys and board books for a 1 year-old? We have some Karen Katz books that my DD destroyed so I'm looking for some titles of sturdier lift-the-flap books as well as other cute board books. Also, do you know of any clothing labels that make very simple, modern, all cotton baby clothes without any ruffles, bows, embroidery, etc.? I just want something very plain, like the basics at BabyStyle. Thanks for your help.

Toddler Winter Boots

Hello ladies :) I have an almost 14 month old little boy. He currently wears a size 2 or 3 shoe. I have been desperatly looking for a pair of winter boots for him. He is a very confident walker and loves the outdoors so I am sure he will love to be in the snow and walking in it. It seems shoe makers don't think someone his size will be out in the snow! Best Lunch Box for Preschoolers?

Hi all ! My daughter will starting VPK in August and since the school year is just ending I thought it would be fresh on everyone's mind of what kind of Lunch box/bag worked best for your preschooler and what features you enjoyed or hated? Also, do you feel it kept the food cool enough until they had lunch? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated :) btw: I did search similar questions on here before I asked but they were not current & I thought something new might have come out or just tried with new thoughts...

Tips for Going Through Security/boarding Aircraft with Ten Month Old Busy Boy...

It'll just be my son Mason and I traveling this time. We have flown before, but Daddy was there to help with going through security and boarding. I'll have my son, a convertible car seat, a smaller stroller, and a couple of small bags. Any tips? My son is very mobile and can walk quite a distance along, and he's off 'running' every time I set him down. I'm just wondering how to handle everything if I'm not offered any help...thanks! Edit: My son will have his own seat, so I will need to board with the car seat.
