Breast Pain from Weaning My 11 Mo Old
I am in, or was, in the process of weaning my 11 mo old boy. He has begun to wean himself by not taking in as much and so I decided to start formula so I know he is getting the fluids he needs. To start weaning I just did 3x a day for almost a week. Then I took out the middle feeding and oh my goodness I became so engorged there were lumps everywhere and even pumping could get nothig out! I spent 45 min in the shower trying to expell (succeeded only a little bit) then spent hours afterward trying to massage them and used hot washcloths....
