Should I Take My 10-Month Old to Hawaii?

My husband and I have been planning a 13-day trip to Hawaii in April 2009 since before our baby was born. He will be 10 months old when we go, and we have been planning all along to take him with us. I think I am in hell. Hehe. First of, my son will be a year old on the 29th. Just wanted to clarify about his age. I am trying to wean my son from the bottle to the cup. Having a difficult time, obviously, since I am posting here about it. My son has used a cup before, usually before bed he has some juice and a teething biscuit.
