Spotting at 11 Weeks

I am currently 11.5 weeks into my second pregnancy and this morning I had some light spotting. It hasn't been constant all day and is brownish/pink rather than red, plus I haven't had any cramping. According to the MD office it is considered normal for this to happen before 13 weeks but is still enough to freak me out! This happened with my first and I was on bed rest for 7 weeks. The 8 week ultrasound was fine and we heard the heartbeat on doppler at 10 weeks. I am trying not to panic, but its hard to take it easy when you have a...

Seeking Gift Ideas for SIL Pregnant W/twins About to Go on Bedrest.

Does anyone have any good ideas for a woman who is about to go on bedrest and having twins? Does bedrest usually mean laying down? Should I look at pillows that will give her good support? Maybe other things to keep her occupied for the next 3 mos? What does she really need, I don't know anyone who has been on bedrest?

Part of the reasoning is that it's better to discuss it openly now before he hears the wrong info around the older kids at school. My son is with 4th and 5th graders a couple times a week in after-school care, so I'm considering that also. Although he is very mature, he seems so innocent right now, and I'm not sure how far to take the discussion. He's a pretty sensitive kid. We don't let our...
