Any Moms Use Miralax?

Hi Everyone! I am just curious if any of you have used Miralax for your little ones. I have a seriously constipated 3 yr. old who was actually impacted the other day. Dr. prescribed Miralax (polyethylene glycol) for him to use daily. I have no objection to using it, we have tons of patients on it in our Internal Med office, but they are adults. Moms Who Use Miralax

Our son was just put on Miralax by a nutritionist. We started on Thursday and the pharmacist recommended 1 tsp a day for him. It's Sunday now and no sign of a poop. For all the moms who've used this med on their kids, do you remember how long it took to get initial results? And about how long were your kids on it before their systems became regular? Also, what is the dosage you were told to use? My son is 2 years old and about 28 pounds. Thanks!
