Walmart Brand Pediasure and A&D Ointment?! Has Anyone Used Them!?

My sons pedi recommended we give him Pediasure while moving (20 hour road trip from San Diego to Washington) because he won't drink cold milk. My only concern is how expensive pediasure is!! Has anyone used the walmart brands parents choice version? Same with a&d ointment, walamart equate brand is so much cheaper! Anyone who has used these or know someone who does, can you let me know if it's the same thingnor should I bite the bullet and pay for name brand? Thank you!!

When to Stop Breastfeeding

I am looking for opinions on when it is ok to stop breastfeeding. I nursed my 1st child to 11 mo, second didn't work out so well, and was only able to nurse for 7 weeks. My third child is now 8 mo, and I would really like to be done. He takes a bottle fine when I pump, and has also had formula, and doesn't seem to mind it. Everytime I think about stopping, I have so much guilt. I think if I made it to 1 year, I would be ok with stopping, but I'm wondering if it is really that important or beneficial to keep nursing these last few...

Rash on 6 Month Old's Bottom

Our six month old has a rash on her bottom. We noticed a small couple of spots so started putting on A&D Ointment and change her every couple hours, whether really wet or not...(more frequently if needed...) and everyday the rash has gotten worse. We haven't really changed her diet, but she is fighting a cold and teething. We did (on recommendation of her ped)give her some plain yogurt about 5 days before the rash appeared. Switching Formula....a Strange rash...and Baby Dandruff???

I have 2 questions. The first pertains to switching formula. I previously asked about brands and types of formulas to add into my 5 mo old's breastfed diet. I was giving him soy because I thought it might be he easiest to digest and based on all the responses I received, I've decided to switch to Good Start. Am I supposed to switch it gradually(like when switching dog foods??) or can I start the new formula right away? How will I know if he's allergic to dairy? Do Baby Vitamins (With Iron) Really Stain Their Teeth?

My 9-mo-old son has recently begun rejecting baby cereal. It's the age - he's trying out finger foods. He eats solids several times a day and is breastfed (with one formula bottle a day).
