Skin Troubles: Melasma

After being on 3+ years of fertility drugs, I have had a lot of trouble with Melasma (mask of pregnancy). It appeared after using Follistim for ~1 year, and got much worse after IVF and into pregnancy. (So bad, my patients kept asking me if I had something on my lip, or if I had been out in the sun too much!) It has faded somewhat since giving birth last June, but it is still pretty bad. I exfoliate my face once a day, use SPF 70+ and wear a hat when outside, and moisturize. I am still breastfeeding, so I can't take the prescription...

21 Month Son Has Dry Patches/small Bumps on Skin

My son was born with tiny bumps on the back of his arms (like mommy). Now, his back is so dry and after bath, the skin on his back turns very red. I use johnson & johnson head to toe soap-free wash and use A LOT of lotion to sooth his dry patches on back. The doctor told me it was excema on his arms so we reguarly use cream for that too. He does not scratch or act bothered but the redness after a bath and the dryness concerns me. Any ideas?
