Endometriosis & Infertility

An immediate family member of mine is diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis. She doesn't have any kids yet and would like to persue infertility treatment after the surgery to address her endometriosis. Has anyone had any experience with this situation especially with respect to the surgeon and infertility specialists used. I am looking in particular for any positive or negative experiences and any medical specialists you would recommend. Thank you all for your time and advice. U.

Radiation for Cancer??

Hey mamas, To make a long story short, about month ago, my then 5 month old nephew had a cancerous tumor removed in his right kidney. They have started chemo and have been doing it for two weeks now. The cancer was a stage three and now they are talking about going through radiation. They aren't sure if the cancer is still there, but for stage three they offer it. Pros of radiation- could get rid of all the cancer. No guarantees. Cons of radiation- could cause infertility, loss of growth in his torso, etc Pros of no radiation- won't...

Desperately Seeking in Vitro Advice

Hi, I have a good friend who has been trying to get pregnant for the second time for a while now. She has tried everything and is at the point of in vitro. Does anyone have any advice on what will help her have success with in vitro? She has been debating over accupuncture (but she got sick from it last time), massages or reflexology? She is nervous that with any of these treatments there maybe adverse effects. Any first hand experiences, good or bad, will be very helpful. Thanks!
