Sleeping Arrangements When Traveling

Our little girl just turned 3 and we are going on vacation with her in a couple weeks. Previously when we travelled she slept in her pack n play, but now she is much too big and is accustomed to sleeping in a "big girl bed". She has never been too good with the co sleeping arrangement as she finds it too distracting to have us so close and never stops flopping around and asking questions. We will be staying in a rental house during our trip. Has anyone used an air mattress or sleeping bag in this scenario or what do you recommend? Thanks...

Guilt over Son's Premature Birth

Hi ladies, I'm new to this site and in need of an honest opinion about my son's birth. My son was born a few months ago and he was born at 31 weeks and I feel like it was all my fault. When I was about 28 weeks along I went to the bathroom and when I stood up I felt a drip go down my leg. Son Needs Help with Phonics

My three and a half year old is a sweet little boy, but he needs some help with the way words sound. When he says fishy, it comes out as pussy. :/ I nearly died of embarrassment when he said, "Look mommy, pussies!" in Meijer. If anyone has any ideas of what I could do to help get his words to sound how they should, I would be really grateful to hear them; I am waiting on an application to YPS to get him enrolled in pre-school with their "special ed" area.

Won't Go to the Potty!

I am desperate and in need of help. My beautiful 3 year old daughter will not have a bowel movement on the potty. She will literaly hold it in and then only goes once a week and I have to almost hold her on the potty till she goes and when she does it hurts her cause quite frankly it something that should come out of an adult. 4 y.o. With Bad Case of Eczema

My four year old daughter has had Eczema on and off since she was born. In the past I have taken her to the pediatrician and gotten a prescription for a skin cream. She has been there so much lately for illness that I hate going back for this. I have tried Gold Bond medicated and Huggies baby lotion. She has Asthma so I know it is linked to that. My 3 Year Old Is Constipated

Hi there, I have a problem that I need help with. I have a 3 year old girl who has been potty trained, but is having trouble going potty for #2. She states that she holds it in because it hurts. I give her prune juice every morning and also she loves to eat dried prunes, but is doesn't seem to help her, she is constatnly afraid that it will hurt. My one year old has this cold which is getting a little better but he has this cough with a little rattle in his chest. MY 3 year old is just starting to get a runny noise and a cough so now he is getting it too. I really hate to continue giving them the over the counter cold medicine. 4 Year Old Son Having Bad Nightmares

Lately my son has been having BAD nightmares where he "wakes" up screaming our names in terror but won't wake up. He continues to have the nightmare and finally will wake up but scared to go back to sleep. Besides him dealing with growing pains in his legs, he is not getting enough sleep. HELP- 18 Month Old Measuring Small

My daughter is almost 19 months but we had her 18 month checkup today. She weighed 21 lbs 8 oz and measured in the 9th percentile. I have not been worried about her weight (even though I knew she was small) because she ate a blanced diet (fruits, veggies, beans, cheese, etc.) and is meeting her milestones.
