Most Useful New Infant Item You had...please share...especially Preemie Parents

So my SIL gave birth VERY early last week..at 30.5 weeks gestation. My niece weighed in at 2 lbs, 1 oz. She has done miraculously..no vent the whole time, no emergencies and while she has not gained any weight yet, she is maintaining her birth weight at this point. She looks wonderful...even a full head of hair! I thought fat and hair grew last?? She is a tiny little spectacular miracle! She will be needing some selections of preemie clothes, and other such things. But I am wondering what were the most useful things you had for Preemies...

Baby Diaper Genie 2

Does anyone have any comments on the NEW Diaper Genie 2. I had a orginal Diaper Genie and it was awful, smelly, difficult to use and expensive. I dont want to make the mistake again and buy this thing if it doesnt help with the smell of pampers. Any comments???

Advice Needed on Eliminating Diaper Smell!!

Hi Moms! Now that my baby is getting bigger and eating more baby food we are having a problem with diaper odor smell! We use a diaper Genie. I have an Air Wisp in his room and I use the Glade things, but I feel like my whole house smells like diapers. (It seems to be worse when we have the windows opened instead of the AC on!) I am open for any suggestions you have--is there a good product out there I don't know about or a natural remedy? Any advice is appreciated!

What to Add/leave off Baby Registry?

Hi - I am wondering what items other Moms have put on their Baby Registry, and what items you would leave off? Obviously, leave off clothes, but is there anything you wished you had put on that you didn't, or vice versa? Also, when it comes to things like bottles, should I register for a "variety" pack of sorts? Or, should I research basically everything in advance before putting it on the list?
