Baby Gear Questions

Hi beautiful mommies and soon to be mommies! We still have some "big" baby gear to purchase after our showers, namely car seat and stroller. We both have relatively "smallish" cars so nothing clunky or heavy. Our neighbor keeps lobbying us to get Peg Perego but boy are they expensive! I could probably hunt down a deal on the 'net if there is concensus that they are the best but I am looking for more input. We are planning to breastfeed and I am aware that that does not always happen as easily as a woman thinks. Can you help me plan...

Gerber Training Pants/Waterproof Pants

Hi Mamas. I am trying to find the training pants (not pull-ups) that look like really thich underwear and the waterproof pants that go over those. My sone is 3.5 and will go EVERYTIME I take him, but is too busy doing everything to stop and go. I think he feels like he's wearing a diaper so why bother! Financially strapped beyond belief right now and not spending $9.00 every 3 days on pull=ups would mean I could eat dinner more than once per week ...

Help Finding New Cream

Hi, I just found out today that Gerber no longer makes the Grins & Giggles Moisturizing Stick! I now need help finding a new lotion to use on my son's sensitive face. I have tried baby lotions but he says that they sting. The Gerber stick was the only one that he says doesn't hurt. Any help or suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks!

Not Dry at Night, but Fighting the Pull Up

Mamas & Papas- DS is not dry at night, but is fighting the pull up. About a dozen times a day he "reminds us" that he doesn't want pullups, only underpants, please. Any thoughts for underwear type of products that can keep the bedding dry? I am willing to wash the underpants (pull up substitutes), but don't want to face the bedding. Thanks, F. B.
