Hi moms, I got a car seat '07 but now its about 6 years old manufactured in '03 and we are expecting our second child in Feb.'10 I was wondering if we can use that one or do we have to get a new one? Does anyone know how long is to long to keep a car seat?? I also got another one its a bigger car seat at a gargae sale yesterday and it was manufactured in '01, is that to long of date to use it for kids??? Britax Car Seats

Can anyone give their advice/experience regarding the Britax carseats? I am interested in a few of them, the Marathon, Decathalon and the Boulevard. I was very interested in the Decathalon, b/c it has a little extra padding than the marathon, but after reading lots of negative comments about adjusting the straps when the carseat is in the rear facing position I'm now leaning towards the Britax Marathon. The Boulevard seems great to, but it might just have a bit too much padding and although I like it for when my baby is smaller, I can't...

Very Minor Accident - New Car Seat Necessary???

I need some advice. I have always heard that if you are in a car accident, you should get new car seats no matter what because you don't know about internal damage to the seat. So, that said...
