Withholding Stool Even Though He Is on Miralax

I am wondering Why my child is still trying to withold stool even though he is on a high level of Miralax. He has about three tablespoons a day. The goal was to get him pooping so much that he did not have time to wothold. Even though he is on all of the lax he still does the dance. I am soooooooo frustrated and want to help him so much. Baby Has Hard Bowel Movements

I have a happy one year old daughter who has always had problems with harder than normal bowel movements. When she was just a few months old we had to put her on sorbital(sugar water). I hated having to do this and started feeding her prunes and other foods that I thought would help. She's now drinking milk and it's gotten worse. She's not constipated she actually goes 4-5 times a day, but it's in rabbit pellet form. At Wits End with Diaper Rash

My son has had a bad diaper rash off and on for over a month to the point that his but gets all red and almost raw. At times you would think we were killing him to change his diaper. Moms Who Use Miralax

Our son was just put on Miralax by a nutritionist. We started on Thursday and the pharmacist recommended 1 tsp a day for him. It's Sunday now and no sign of a poop. For all the moms who've used this med on their kids, do you remember how long it took to get initial results? And about how long were your kids on it before their systems became regular? Miralax Vs. Suppositories

I took away my son's pullups and he is withholding his stool now. Today is the 3rd day. I think he just needs to poop once in the potty and he'll be OK. He's scared of the notion and he needs to see that it's OK to poop in the toilet. So I know there's a buildup of poop in his system. he was dancing around yesterday trying to hold it in. I posted recently my frustration with my gassy fussy baby and expressed my concerns about formulas and breastfeeding. I am now solely breastfeeding but my poor baby girl is constipated.
