Withholding Behavior Issue

I'm at the end of my rope dealing with my daughter's constipation/withholding. We've lost hours of each weekend with her sitting on the potty, screaming and crying holding back her poop. She has had some constipation problems and we're addressing those problems with diet and Miralax. I've tried being sympathetic to her, I've tried ignoring the behavior and giving her the control, nothing works.
