Stinky Diaper Champ

We have been using a Diaper Champ since our 18 mo. old daughter was born and love it. For the first year of her life, we kept the Champ in her bedroom because that is where we changed diapers. Up until about 6 months ago, we never had a problem with the smell. But now it just stinks. We started keeping it in the garage, she loves to take her diapers out and throw them away herself. Okay. One of my really good friends is having a baby shower coming up. I viewed her registries and she didn't really register for alot.
