I like a lot of animated kid movies, but the ones that pop into mind right now are the Madagascar movies--all of them, but especially the most recent one. Hilarious. At that age my kids used to love Thomas the Tank Engine.
I can't stand to watch Cats & Dogs! But I rather like Phineas & Ferb or Over the Hedge. My son is sick and so we've been watching movies and just relaxing on the couch. What movies do you like as an adult? If I'm going to sit with him I want to at least enjoy the show a little bit! I'll take any suggestions - new movies or old. Just curious if there's a good favorite out there that we're missing out on. (We watched Dumbo today, watched Peter Pan last week. We've watched Marmaduke and Rio probably 10 times each. We love those two).
Edit - my son is 4.5 We LOVE Shaun the sheep. We are considering getting Netflix again. We've been using my mom's account for a year and she finally cancelled. I never did get tired of Shaun. I do like Despicable Me as well. Perhaps we will put that one on our "see soon" list as it's been a while. I like the idea of some oldies/goodies. We have not seen Mary Poppins nor Free Willy. He may or may not like those along with many others y'all mentioned. Some movies y'all mention I have never heard of! (I'm going to Google the Pagemaster). I think I may be deprived as well! He likes movies where the animals talk - ie: Chimpanzee he did not like. But Marmaduke is a winner. Y'all have given me great suggestions! THANK YOU!

My DD is 5 and does really only likes animated movies. She likes a lot more but the two above are ones she loves and I enjoy as well.
We LOVE Finding Nemo! Such great plot, colors, adventure etc. All of the Toy Story movies are good. We have others but those are the ones that first came to mind...
I like the Narnia movies, my daughter and I watched the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe today. And Mulan is a good one. I also like Babe. And UP.
I love Netflix for the kids shows because there are so many that aren't irritating to me...Shaun the Sheep, BusyTown Mysteries, Backyardigans, to name a few.
Movies? I LOVE Wall-E. I could watch it a hundred times. The music is so beautiful I bought the soundtrack. I also love Mary Poppins, since you mention it.
You could try Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Alice in Wonderland...I have to stop or I'll name a hundred movies.
Finding Nemo
Avatar the Last Airbender (cartoon... Movie was awful)
Kipper
Veggie Tales
My Neighbor Totoro
Wallace & Grommet
The Diary if a Wimpy Kid movies are really funny. We also love Rio, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and Brave. My personal fave is the little mermaid, and my daughter loves to watch the tv show Survivor with me.

Alice in Wonderland
One Hundred One Dalmatians
Jungle Book
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Curious George movies

Horton Hears A Who, Up, and Meet the Robinsons are a few of our personal favorites. Shaun the Sheep is/was always a favorite too (even for me and hubby).
I'm not even sure where you would find them but here's an oldie series: Shelley Duvall's Fairie Tale Theater.
My 9yr old and I really liked "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" but it was a sad ending.
My son and DIL have netflix and my grandson loves Mater's Tall Tales or something like that. Mater is telling Lighting McQueen all about his adventures. It's really funny. I usually can't sit through too many kids movies or shows but I can watch this one.
Oldies, since my kids were young in the 90s. Adventurers Down Under, The Great Mouse Detective, The mouse and the Motorcycle.
Loved the Pagemaster, too!
