Working from home won't necessarily give you more time with your family. If you need to earn a real income and not just spending money, you can expect to use childcare to get in your work hours. I have worked from home for nine years and do love it, but I only work when my kids are in daycare and school in the mornings. It would be impossible to get in quality work time and care for them appropriately otherwise.

A lot of companies are allowing people to telecommute because it saves them money and helps you out as well.

I'd certainly check into that with some temp agencies that can give you the info you need to get into one of these opportunities.

I substitute at a local elementary school. If they had their way, I'd be there 2-4 days a week but we have our own business and I am working at home most of the time. NO, our business is not MLM or anything like that. We are brokers/consulting for raw materials companies.

If you love selling you might like one of the MLM opportunities, most do require an investment, recruiting new people, selling whatever you sell. I personally am not into MLM opportunities but some people love them.

Good luck

Dear T.,

I'm always looking for reps and if you are open to more information and interested in creating some income, whatever that may look like to you, please send me an email.

T., my website has a free 12 minute video on it which is

Think about something you enjoy doing whether its computer, sewing, crafts etc. For example I am offering begginers sewing classes in my home where I live. Maybe you like children so babysitting. Free ads online for advertising. Domestic sale, craigs list, US free ads are just a few. Google free online ads in your area and see what u come up with. First find that something you enjoy doing and change it into a money maker.

I found the perfect work from home job a couple of months ago. I am still working full-time, but hope to be working exclusively from home some day. It has been a life saver because I’m able to get some extra money by putting in a couple hours a week. You can work at your own pace and make your family’s schedule BEFORE your work schedule. Let me know if you are interested and we can talk more.

Here is the thing, I looked for years to find something not only legit, but that I would like. Here are the RED flags to look for-
1. they ask for money before you know what you are doing. RUN that is not legit and what you will be doing is exactly what they are getting money for nothing
2. How long has the company been in business- Most fail within the first five years- that is just the cold hard truth sorry
3. Is the company with the better business bureau- I said company not team or person. There are teams and people that represent companies that are with the BBB, but the teams are not
If they are with the BBB-what is the rating...
4. How much is the start up cost and can you get it back. Many companies do offer a money back guarantee, how hard is it to get back is it worth the time.
5. How much is training? Some companies hide the fact that the start up is cheap, but require training that can add up to BIG $$
6. What kind of support with the people that signed me up give me?

These might help you on your way to finding something. I found my perfect business. The start up cost was $29 with a $12 annual fee and everything was fully refundable within the first 4 months if I wasn't happy. The support from my team is great and the company is even more awesome than I expected. There is more to it than I could ever explain on a post, if you want more info go to www.StayHomeForKids.com
If this isn't for you just ask the questions above to other businesses and find something that fits you, that is how I found my perfect biz and I have been happy for over 2 years and the compensation plan is amazing:)
GOD BLESS and happy searching

Hello T.,

Think about this work from home business. How about capitalizing from services that you already use. Moreover, you can capitalize from services that others already use. By becoming part of the team in this company you have the benefit of earning income from services that everybody uses. Take a look for yourself. www.5linx.net/L463365

One thing that has helped for some friends and myself is a new hobby we started to make extra income. I am able to do it while out running errands. I enter car tags into a database. Then I tell others about it. That's it. No products, no services to sell. I can write them down with my 15 month old in the car. A completely legit company has created a way to store information to help find missing children and those who have stolen cars or failed to make their payments. I have already received multiple checks. I told 3 friends, then they told and so on. Yes, like multi-level or Arbonne, only no products or services. Just 10 tags a month per person (easier to grow your team that way). I'm almost to my 4th level of people. (I only recruited a few). Once you reach 5 levels, it is $4,500 a month. The income comes from each tag entered, the more people on your team, the more you make per tag. Please feel free to call me on my cell, you can sign up from anywhere around the country. This isn't a junk response, I really am a Mom on here that loves to talk to other Moms, you can read all about my posts as I've been on here for a while. Call me, A., at ###-###-####. I worked from home for five years (telecommuting) and while there are many advantages, it won't give you the time you expect with your family. There was no way to be able to work and take care of my child at the same time (you'll need a babysitter or to have him in daycare) and I found myself working longer hours as the office was always "there" - sort of like living at work.

It might depend on the type of work of course but if it pulls in a good salary, company expectations will be high. The last thing my boss wanted was to hear a child in the background - they made it very clear there was to be no way clients knew I was working from home.
