My vote is for the Florida Keys. It's most likely the only warm place right now.
How cool that you won this! Have a great time, wherever you choose to go!
I have to take it by April 20th and my girlfriend is going. I thought CA or FL because it is warm and there are beaches.

Can you go to Hawaii? If so, definitely do that! Hawaii is amazing (Maui is my favorite by far).
CA weather in April isn't always great for the beach (though many people were there on New Years Day because it was 80 degrees here!). It can be nice, but it can also be cloudy and chilly at the beach. Still, there is SO much other stuff to do in CA that you can have a blast here even if you don't hit the beach.
I think FL probably has warmer beach weather in the spring. That's my guess, since so many people go there for spring break. Maybe you can find a place that's not going to be overrun with college kids and have a great beach vacation.
M. S,
Welcome to mamapedia!!
In the CONTINENTAL United States or ALL of the US? If it's ALL of the US - I would go to Hawaii..
Is hotel accommodations included? If not...check around on different sites and find out the most affordable hotel in the locations you want to go and work it that way...
Hotwire.com
Travelocity.com
Expedia.com
Things to consider...rental car...meals....accommodations....money for souvenirs...etc. and other incidentals...
Have fun!
No where prettier than the central coast of California but I'm biased.
If it's not just continental US I'd go to Hawaii. It's just so different than any other state and an expensive plane ticket, get your money's worth. If you've been living through the polar vortex you deserve a tropical climate!
Hawaii!!!!! California is awesome, I live here but Hawaii can't be beat in the US.
I'd go to the Florida Keys or to Hawaii.
If it's not limited to the continental US, I would pick Hawaii - otherwise I'd say Florida Keys.
Are US territiories included? If so, that opens up the possibility of the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico.
I'd pick Hawaii, but if you need to stay in the 48, how about Charleston, South Carolina? Nice architecture and interesting history.
Maui if you can go to Hawaii. San Diego would be my second choice. Myrtle Beach would also be fun. If you go in March or early April I would skip Florida or any other spring break destination. Anyone I know who has traveled to those places during spring break has had miserable experiences!
Somewhere warm.
First choice? Oahu, Hawaii.
Second choice, Southern California.
Third choice, FL but make sure the weather is good. They are having
some funky weather, too.
Hawaii! No question. We've wanted to go back there for years but the airfare was insane.
Hawaii would be my first pick if its possible. We love the Keys or Marco Island….I love the keys. Take a speed boat out to the Dry Tortugas and snorkel.
Congrats, have fun
How exciting! If beach, sun and surf is what you seek, definitely stick with Florida or Cali. I would LOVE to do the Beverly Hills/90210 tourist trip! Or Vegas!! The shows, shopping and you may walk away with another big win! Take me!
Anywhere in the entire USA, or the continental?
I would definitely go for Hawaii if possible!
If not, we went to St. George Island (Florida) for Christmas one year, and it was great. :)
San Diego or Florida keys is you want Florida,or California. I think you would be happy anyplace warm!
Is it just airfare, or is lodging included?
hawaii sounds great, but i'll bet it's not allowed. it's a pity the time is so restricted! beaches are always good, but so are mountains! maybe a spring trip to yellowstone, or the grand tetons.

It's cold and miserable here now, so I would go to Miami Beach. Or, if it's possible, Key West. They are both warm, with beaches and very FUN places to be.
I like San Diego, but it's actually often warmer in Miami than in SD, and for sure the ocean water in the Atlantic is much warmer than the Pacific, so that makes the beach more fun, IMO.
I'm assuming your prize is only the contiguous 48 states.
If it's really any of the 50 states or the territories, I'd go to Maui.
Scottsdale, AZ would be nice too if you're looking to relax.
Since you're from OH, I'd say go to California. Perhaps San Diego. I've never been to SD but I hear it's beautiful.
I've been to FL a million times so I am biased - I've seen it all. But if you rarely go, then go down there. Miami, Orlando, Ft; Lauderdale. You can even take a 3 day cruise.
Are you party girls? How about New Orleans? Or Memphis?
I'm sure you'll enjoy wherever you end up!! Have fun.
Florida! Miami, Naples, Marco Island, The Keys
Hawaii
California
Florida Keys
