Hi Everyone!
I know people may be sick of these questions but we are trying to plan a trip for our anniversary in September. We would probably travel in August or September. Wondering what your favorite locations would be. I'd like to keep it domestic. As much as I'd like to go to the Bahamas or Virgin Islands, I will miss the kids too much. We'd like to be gone about 4 days or so and I think if we can only be gone a few days, we will probably want to stay close to the US. We aren't fans of Mexico but would like an all inclusive. So, what are you favorite locations? We've been to Clearwater and I'm not opposed to going back but would like someplace new.

Key West, Florida!!!
Port Aransas, Texas. Beautiful beaches, quiet in September, but still hot. We love it there, particularily the Mayan Princess or Sandcastle Condos.
As someone that regularly does 4 day trips to Europe (due to kids and babysitting)...don't rule out overseas if you really want it.
We've done London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Germany, and France all in 4 days jaunts. Sure, we'd like to stay longer, but we can only get sitting for 4 day stretches at a time.
We'll be doing Spain in August. Leave either Wednesday night or Thursday morning, fly home on Sunday. If you keep it to 1 city, rather than trying to see it all, you can have a lovely time!
Florida Keys!!! It's beautiful down there, really tropical feel.
Keep in mind it's hurricane season then. That said, there are some lovely beaches and resorts in and near (islands) Charleston, SC. The Bahamas really aren't that much farther than FL. I might lean towards CA--either northern Bay area (wine country?) or southern, San Diego. Carlsbad, CA, between SD and LA although closer to SD, is beautiful and has some upscale resorts.
Hmmm, if it's only 4 days you will want to stay close, and I'm really not sure what is near you. But, I love the Southern cities. We went to Raleigh last year, gorgeous. I still want to get to Charelston and Savannah. I think of these as old, romantic cities.
We just came back from the Caribbean, and WOW! You can fly there and do it in four days. What about a cruise? They have 4 night cruises...
We went to Club Med at Sandpiper Bay in Florida in November and had a great time. It is an all inclusive which I loved. The food was good and there were plenty of activities if you wanted them or an adults only pool if you would rather just hang out and relax.
My DH and I are going to a bed and breakfast that is near some sights we want to see. We can't get an overnight sitter for 4 days, but a three day weekend will still be nice. Would Bermuda be close enough? We went there on a cruise and decided if we did it again, we'd skip the cruise and fly in. You could snorkel and play on the beach for 3 or 4 days and fly home. If you go there, go to Castle Bay for snorkeling. Or what about Puerto Rico?
ONLY 4 days.....stay close to home or you will be spending too much travel time! Magnolia Hotel, Omaha
Bermuda without a doubt for me. Not sure if there are inclusives or not.
Florida Keys is a great place! Beautiful down there. Then for something different there is the Smokey Mountains. Nashville fun fun place. San Antonio Texas. San Diego. So many good places I. The good ole USA.
my 10 yr anniversary is in may. since i always plan our trips, i asked my husband to plan this one for us (kids included too). i only told him i want tropical place and all inclusive :)
