I plan to attend the WOF conference and would love to carpool with someone or find a church group that has room for 1 more...my ticket is for the preconference which begins at 10 a.m. at the American Airlines Center downtown. I really don't know my way around and would rather not stress. Thanks! I contacted Stonebriar Church, but I didn't receive a response about their chartered bus scheduled to go.
The conference was GREAT! I missed the pre-conference, but I did get to attend Friday evening. My husband took me Friday night and Saturday so I didn't have to worry about DART, but I'll use it if I ever need to. My dilemma was trying to get there Friday morning and so I just skipped it. I would have had to juggle taking son to school, dropping off my daughter with someone or somewhere for the day and paying a hefty fee for it-plus, getting to DART on time so I just saved the money and hassle and bought some great resources at the conference. It was GREAT! Thank you all for your responses.
I believe there is a group going from McKinney Fellowship Bible Church and Christ United Methodist Church in Plano.
Hey there!! I am going too!!! I can't wait! The bad part for you...I love in The Colony...and I'm planning on staying in a hotel down there so I don't have to go back and forth! I don't go to those things or know anything about them but I do believe the Dart train gets you downtown to the AA Center. You can get on the train at Parker Rd in Plano.
Just a thought.
DART runs a special train to the AA center for this event. I've gone the past few years but don't have tickets this year. You change to the special train downtown and it pulls up right in front of the center. You can't mess up since hundreds of women going the same place will be on the train with you!
