I was just wondering how early other moms start feeling their babies move when they're pregnant. For some reason I feel mine really early. I felt my first one start to move at 12 weeks, and his movements were so strong my husband could even feel them. I'm pregnant with my second one now and started feeling it move at 9 weeks. Is this normal?!

What can I do next?

That is funny that I read your post b/c I am prego w/my third, almost 10 weeks along and I swore I felt a little movement yesterday and today. According to books and stuff it seems like impossible at this stage so I am very curious to see what the other mamas say too :)

I felt my third move really early, around 10 weeks. It wasn't much, but I could tell. I think some women just feel things more sensitively than others...or some babies just kick harder!!! It is also normal to feel subsequent babies sooner...because after you have felt it before, your recognize it sooner. I felt very lucky to be able to feel it for longer than most people get to!!! Just enjoy!!!!

Hi A.,
I thought I was the only one. I am pregnant with my second and started feeling this one move at around 13 weeks. I told my doctor and she said that it was not possible. But I know what I'm feeling and it is definately the baby moving...even my husband felt him.

I think it's completely normal...especially with your second. I've heard you feel the second a lot sooner.

You are blessed! How nice to know your baby is alive and strong. I too felt my babies move very early. This is not only normal, it's special. Enjoy!

I think what you're experiencing is totally normal & I wouldn't worry at all. Especially since this is your 2nd baby, you know what you're feeling is the baby moving and not just gas or your tummy growling! You must have just very active babies!
