L. - We go every year (in fact my husband and I got married there 8 1/2 years ago and I am running the marathon there in Jan 2011) and we will be going for our family vacation in Nov this year. My kids love Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. My son is 5 yo next week and my daughter 2 yo 3 mo. This will be my son's 4th trip, my daughter's 2nd. Magic Kingdom is always a hit, no matter what age or ability. Last year my son spend most of his time on Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. My daughter, of course, loved Fantasyland. They both loved the Haunted Mansion. Not sure how tall you daughter's are, but they just redid Space Mountain, so I am looking forward to checking that out with my son (also he just clears the 44' requirement). And there are some great shows and parades. Toontown is cute , although I think that is more my daughter's speed and yours may be a little past that. My kids love animals (we have annual passes to the Philly Zoo), so for us Animal Kingdom was right up their alley. We had the Tusker House breakfast buffet (which is a character meal). Although a little expensive, the food was great and my kids enjoyed the characters. Actually we do a lot of character dining and I would say this is one of the best breakfasts. I think someone below mentioned the Safari, which is a lot of fun. My son also enjoyed the Dino ride and the bone dig. They have a lot of character meet and greets, if you daughters are into the whole autograph thing. There is also a train ride to another area in the park where there is a petting zoo and some other hands on activities for the kids. And this year my son and I plan on going on Everest (he was not tall enough last year) Epcot is lots of fun too. My kids like taking the monorail from MK to Epcot. We love Test Track, Soarin, the boat rides in Mexico and Norway and the Living Seas. The Garden Grill is a rotating restaurant that has character dining with Chip, Dale, Mickey and I think Goofy. That is in the Land. Food (particularly catfish) is great there. Again lots of meet and greet places and I think a lot of Princesses there too (although we have not explored that a lot yet as my daughter is just 2 yo and not into princesses yet). Although I like Hollywood Studios the only ride that appealed to my almost 5 yo was toy story (which is just like the Buzz Light year ride at MK). My 2 yo liked Playhouse Disney and the Little Mermaid Show, but your 6 yo may be past that. There is also Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk which are shopping/dining areas (if you are looking for "down" day activities). And there are several water parks and a mini-golf course (maybe 2) on Disney property. Hope this helps. Have a great time.
