My kid's pediatrician does it. Dr. Dan Moulton, TLC Pediatrics at Allen Presby Hospital. (972) 747-KIDS.
My boss is looking for a recommendation of where to go to get her 6 month old daughters ears pierced. I am trying to get some referrals of places she can go to get this done.
Thank you for all the reponses. My boss actually ended up going to Sweet and Sassy in Frisco. They did a wonderful job, and her baby cried for all of 30 seconds, and was smiling for the after picture. They gav her a certificate, with her name and date, and her picture on it. SHe said it was a wonderful experience. If you want to check them out, go to www.sweetandsassy.com.

I also took my daughter to Claires. They ended up getting infected, not from Claires in any way though, and we got them re-done at Walmart.
I was pleased with both places.
She might want to check with her ped. I know mine does it.
I took my daughter to Claire's - they were great and she didn't cry at all!
Good luck!
I would tell her to check with her pediatrician. WE got my little girl's done at claires and the girl who did them was so nervous she ended up piercing on at an angle and now it gets infected very easily (still after 5 years!) At her next appointment after I had them done my ped said I could have done that for you. I wish I had known that!
I took my 5yo to sweet and sassy in Frisco. She loved it. I dont know about younger but they were great!

You will probably balk at this, but the best place to have ears, any age ears, pierced is at a tattoo shop & done by a professional piercer. Piercing guns can't be sterilized and they use a blunt earring, which causes trauma to the ears. Infections occur MUCH more frequently with guns, as well.
My brother is an artist & former trained piercer at Saints and Sinners in Carrollton and believe it or not, they do see quite a few young children. When my girls are ready for pierced ears, they'll go see Uncle Josh. :)
I used Piercing Pagoda for my two oldest daugthers, they both got their ears pierced when they were 3 months old. It was very sterile, and we never had any problems. You can find their booth at most malls . . . just look them up on the internet for locations.
My sister-in-law had her infant's done at the pediatrician. I didn't even know they did it there, but I guess that's the ideal situation for infant ear piercing. Good luck! My 10 year old daughter has no interest in pierced ears, so I haven't had to do this yet!
