Where to Buy Children's Swimsuits This Time of Year?

My 7- and 1-year-old girls are in swimming lessons and loving every minute of it! They're both also having growth spurts and unfortunately their swimsuits are looking pretty snug. Where can I buy some reasonably priced new ones this time of year?

What can I do next?

Last week I bought my son a swim suit at Old Navy. It only cost 73 cents! I've also seen them on the clearance rack at Target.

I would try either a sporting goods store or shop online.

Have you tried looking online? I would say that would be your best bet since you'll undoubtedly have a very hard time finding any in stores in November.

My 18 month old daughter is in swim lessons year-round and I just found a bunch of cute suits on clearance (about $5 each!) at Target and Babies R Us. You can check places like Old Navy, Children's Place, Carters, JC Penny's and Kohls for clearance suits also. Good luck!

Saw some at Target this morning...both on the clearance rack and the regular children's clothing area.

I'm pretty sure Lands End sells them online year round. And if they don't fit you can just return them to the lands end shop in your local Sears.

I would go online or look at thrift stores. The second option might seem strange, but where I live, we never get a "true" summer and swim suits are really hard to come by even in June, July or August.
I volunteer at a thrift store and you'd be surprised how many darling suits we get not just for kids, but for women as well, many with the tags still on. This time of year, people are cleaning out their closets getting ready for winter and we got some of the nicest summer things in. I even bought some cute things for NEXT summer.
Sporting goods stores are another great place since they may have suits year round for swim competition purposes, etc. This time of year, they might have great clearance racks.
I'm glad your kids are loving swimming. My children are both water lovers and excellent swimmers.
I'm a firm believer that children need to know water safety and how to swim. The younger, the better.

Have fun!

I have seen some at Target recently. I live in Southern California though, so it's much warmer here...not sure if all Targets have them right now.
