I volunteer for PHD - The Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity, in Palatine, a wonderful nonprofit organization which counsels and provides free services for "mothers in need." You could drop them off at The Baby Closet, which is in the Eurofresh shopping mall on the corner of Northwest Highway and Smith Rds, in Palatine. A womens' shelter might be a good place.

My church, Epiphany UCC, has a food pantry and serves meals every Wednesday evening. They can ALWAYS use food, diapers, etc. Epiphany is located at the corner of Bradley and Damen (about 2 blocks north of Addison). You can contact the church office at ###-###-#### to see when a good time to drop them off might be.
