When you only have to put her in diaper/pull ups at night for the once in a while accident, then you can call her potty trained.
good luck!

My kid is 23-months-old. I am a stay-at-home mom and I take her to pee every hour or so. She tells me when she wants to go for potty. I put her in diapers only during nights, not during day except I take her out. I am confused..should I call my child potty trained?

Yes, when your child can come to you and tell you when she needs to go potty...that's potty trained.
I think when your child tells you they need to go AND they go...then yes they are potty trained. If she's letting you know and doesn't have a lot of accidents if you don't ask her...then you can call her potty trained.
We did a neat trick with our daughter...put her in panties and put pull ups over them for when we went out just incase. But she was so concerned about not wanting to get her princess panties wet that she made sure to let us know she had to go.
Then at night we put rubber sheets under her regular sheets just incase and put her in panties only. We told her to she had only panties on. She had maybe 2 accidents and then never again. yay for no more diapers!
Good luck! :)
so sorry A....not yet. you 1st-should not have her in diapers at night, thats only going to confuse her. put her in pullups for a week-2 weeks AT NIGHT only & call them HER NIGHT TIME PANTIES that way, she'll still try to wake herself up and go potty. you'll have to change sheets for awhile, but you HAVE to do this so that she will get it. quit putting her in diapers!! she WILL regress soon if you don't stop. :( i know! it's hard! you're doing GREAT though with the daytime potty!! make sure you just have a FEW sets of sheets..you'll need them! lol...
when you can stop taking her out in diapers she's potty trained right now she's at home trained.
