You should try freecycle.com. there may be one specific to the Staten Island area.
I have gently used baby clothes and maternity clothes. I am finished (unfortunately) with having babies and will no longer need these items, nor do any of my friends. I have searched online for battered womesn's shelter to donate the items, but was unsuccessful. Any ideas on where to donate in Staten Island? Thank you!

Try Freecylce.org - it's not "donating" but there are a lot of people out there who I'm sure could use them. They'll come pick them up even!
