Try giving them to a shelter for women. I know some churches will take donations for the families they help.
I have about 12 4 oz. bottles that my son doesn't use anymore. They are all in perfect condition and all used less than 6 months. I've tried selling them and even giving them away! on local yardsale sites in my area to no avail. Anyone have any suggestion about what to do with all these bottles? Any chance someone will use them? I'd hate to just throw them away! Thanks! E.

You could try www.freecycle.org
or list on craigslist or if you don't want any money for them, post them in the free section on craigslist.
It might be the nipples people are squeamish about. Maybe you could buy new nipples for them and donate them with the new nipples still in the packaging.
I'm getting to this point too, with bottles, pacifiers, and breast pump. All applicable parts have been boil/steam sterilized. I'm leaning towards the donating to a shelter. There is a wonderful one in my city that is geared towards women excaping from abusive relationships--many who have children (or are pregnant).
Try a women's shelter or assistance group. We have a local group that caters to pregnant women and children (under age 3). We can donate everything from maternity clothes, kids clothes, baby toys, bottles and even formula and diapers. I really like that they offer educational classes for them and even have a resale shop for other items that support the programming.
Take the nipples off (throw them away) and donate them to GoodWill, a local chicldren's home, a church nursey, or www.freeecycle.com
www.Freecycle.org. I post everything we no longer need there!
