Just curious, what do people were to HS reunions? Our 10th was just at a bar, but our 20th is at a proper reception place. Cocktail dress? What?
This is the perfect opportunity to wear the timeless LBD - little black dress. You can dress it up with jewelry, heels, and other accessories but you should still be able to wear it on other occasions.
My 10 year reunion was at a country club. There was everything from prom style elegant dresses, to jeans. I had a 12 week old infant and had a mom belly, so I wore black pants and a dressy top. I think dressy but simple is appropriate. Knee length dress or skirt. Even if you wear a very simple, solid color, you can paint your nails, put on some gloss, and you'll look fabulous!

Our 20th class reunion was at a country club. it was dressy. I wore a dress. Our 30th is coming up in october and I have absolutly no clue what I will wear lol.
ours was at a country club and MOST people wore jeans. i was happy i didn't wear the little cocktail dress i had picked out (it was too cold)
I would wear a nice simple dress with accessories. If you look or feel overdressed, then bring a nice quarter sleeve cardigan to wear over it to make it a little more casual.
I went to my mom's with her for her 25th and there were people in jeans and button ups, to dresses. Most people dress in between in nice slacks and pretty blouses.
Or, you can call the reception place and ask what typical attire is.
i wore a cocktail dress, but people were wearing everything, all different. i would wear whatever you feel beautiful and comfortable in. have fun :)
Go for the cocktail dress for sure. That's what I wore to my 10th. It's always better to overdress than underdress in my opinion and a fun and flirty dress will fit in anywhere! My other philosophy is Look your hottest!! ;)
